Having played (and completed) the entire souls series (even Demon Souls) whatever challenge was there, for me, has gone. Yes and to be clear this difficulty spite isn’t the Epic Sax mod, but just incase you missed that, you can read it here. As such they have modded the game to make it even harder! One would think that they had lost their mind to the Abyss! Poor Artorius. There are, however, those to whom Dark Souls 1 isn’t apparently challenging enough.
Yes, I know, officially that’s the name of the DLC inclusive version, but still, when a game warns you of the difficulty in its title, you should take it seriously.
